Carlisle is ideally located between Scotland and the Lake District in Cumbria, both are within easy reach. The house is situated on the northern side of the city on the path of Hadrian's Wall and National Cycle Routes 7 and 72 pass close by. There are many local facilities including, restaurants, public houses, hairdressers, mini-supermarkets, newsagent and various takeaways. Carlisle is a vibrant, cultured city with lots of modern bars and coffee shops with plenty of historic buildings to see.
